Introduction: Although thyrotoxicosis is considered to be a very rare finding in a patient with thyroid cancer, there are several reports regarding this unexpected association in specialty literature. A frequent cause of thyrotoxicosis in patients with cardiac disease is amiodarone-induced thyroid dysfunction.
